MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Even though the Miami Heat didn’t make it to the postseason, Dwyane Wade is still in the playoffs.

The NBA champion hosted a “reading playoffs” event on Saturday at Miami Country Day School.

The purpose of this event was to inspire South Florida children to read.

For the last six months, 100 students from Broward and Miami-Dade counties have read assigned books.
